  • Make Money From Searching The Internet

Show Me The Money | February 11th, 2008 by Melo 3,463 views

As a freelance web designer, I am always online and I am always searching for things that will help me with my work. In fact, I don’t remember a time or a day that I didn’t use a search engine, except maybe when I’m not online. LOL! Searching is almost like second nature to me. If I have a question about something then I’ll search for it. If I need to download a program but could only remember the name then I’ll search for it. It’s already part of my internet life and I think many of you will agree with me.

Anyway, while I was browsing the pages of PayPerPlay‘s forum I received a PM from another member with a link to My Search Funds. It seems that My Search Funds will pay you to search the internet using their browser search box. It sounded interesting so I visited the site and went through their FAQs. I didn’t find anything that would disqualify me from joining so I signed up.

The sign-up process is very simple. Just click the big Start Now button and follow the steps which is basically just entering your name and e-mail then upgrading your browser’s search box to include their own search tool. You can update your details, like choosing the payment method, afterwards.

The search engine that they use is Ask. Don’t Ask me why but that’s what they’re using. I have no problem using Ask.com as a search tool especially if I’ll be paid for using it, right? Besides, I’ve been trying to move away from Lord Google’s search engine and this new opportunity just gave me a much better reason to stay away from it. Why not? Lord Google doesn’t pay me to use his search engine. He he he!

I believe the program is still young since I haven’t heard about it anywhere else but I don’t think that’s a problem. I believe that if you come in early then you’ll have more chances to refer new members and earn more from it. I’ve already updated and added it into my browser’s search box and I’ve already did a few searches with it. The number of times you searched using the search tool is recorded into your member’s page or account page so you’ll have to log in to view it. The only thing I don’t know yet is how much they pay for searches but I’m not really worried about that. I’m sure that I’ll find out sooner or later and besides any rate is better than nothing. LOL!

My Search Funds offers an interesting and very easy way to make money and that is just by simply using their search tool to search the internet. It’s a very appealing alternative to Lord Google’s search engine because, unlike Lord Google, they pay you to use their search. My Search Funds is definitely worth a try.

Update: Unfortunately, I never got paid. They call themselves Supporting Friends now.

    • "Adsense Treasure" Review:

Wow, this one blew me away. What you get is a ready made website. The website runs automatically, you never have to maintain it or pay monthly hosting fees. I got one and it’s been bringing in around $1000 month for me. I absolutely love it.
      I give Adsense Treasure a score of 5/5 (5 out of 5)

    • What a great concept - obviously someone at ASK decided to ask the question - how to break the Google dominance for searches!

    • Seems like a legit site. I have signed up, and will see how much I actually earn doing this, as I use search a lot.

One thing I have noticed is that the search takes a lot longer than Google to process.

I hope I havent filled my email with spam for signing up for this...
