Sending And Receiving Entrecard Credits

Well, I’ve had a few people, who bought credits from me, who kinda had a little problem with receiving credits sent via e-mail (coupons). As many Entrecard members know, there are two ways to send, give or transfer credits from one account to another or, in our case, from one member to another. The first one is through the member’s details page and the second one is through an e-mail address. I will try my best to explain each of them here.

Sending and Receiving Entrecard Credits Through The Member’s Detail Page

Sending and receiving Entrecard credits through the member’s detail page is really pretty straightforward. You just go to the detail’s page of the member you want to send the credits to and click on the link on the right-side of the page that says “Give credits to this site“, fill in the form with the amount of credits you want to send or give, write a brief message why or what it is for and then click on the “Send” button to send it. You will see a message informing you that the credits were sent successfully to your recipient in the next page load. Your recipient will receive the credits instantly and he/she will also receive an e-mail from support@entrecard.com informing him/her of the transfer. (see screenshots)

(Credits are transferred immediately and you will also get an e-mail from the system informing you of the transfer.)

Sending and Receiving Entrecard Credits Via E-mail

This is where some members get confused but it’s really quite simple. To send credits you need to know the e-mail address of the recipient, click on the “Send credit” link which is on your Dashboard and it will load the Send credits page, fill in the form with the information asked like the e-mail address to send to and the amount of credits to send and then click on the “Send” button to send it. After the page loads, you will see a notification that the credits were sent to the e-mail address specified and the recipient will receive an e-mail from the system informing him/her of the transfer. The e-mail message will also contain a Coupon code because credits sent via e-mails are changed into coupons.

If you are the recipient, you will receive an e-mail from the system informing you of the transfer and that e-mail will also contain the coupon code which you will need to redeem or convert the coupon back into credits. To do that, you must click on the “Apply coupon” link on your Dashboard, enter the coupon code in the next page that loads and then click the “Apply” button. You will see a notification in the next page informing you that the credits were applied to your current credit balance. (see screenshots)

(The Send credits page will be a little different because this time it will ask for an e-mail address and not a message to the recipient.)

(You’ll see a notification informing you that the transfer was successful. Your recipient will receive an e-mail from the system to inform him/her of the transfer and it will also contain the coupon code needed to redeem the credits. )

(If you are the recipient then you will receive an e-mail from the system that will contain the Coupon code.)

(After receiving the coupon code, click on the Apply coupon link on your Dashboard.)

(At the Apply coupon page, enter the coupon code then click on the Apply button.)

(You will receive a message if the coupon was applied successfully.)
