Entrecard
Extreme Dropping Or Extreme Gaming
Posted by MeloI will start this post with a quoted message from Graham Langdon of Entrecard.
Anything that pulls the widget from a site is illegal and gets banned immediately.
Today, I recently came upon a new website that focuses on power dropping or speed dropping but unlike PowerDroppping.com this new site pulls out the Entrecard Widget of other Entrecard members and places it on a separate page. Let me show you what I mean here.

Here we see ExtremeDropping.com’s main page. Just below it are links but these links do not link to a website. No, they just link to the widget itself. For this post, the link I picked was ZZboom.

The link will take us to ZZboom’s widget page. Did you notice something wrong with this page? We see ZZboom’s widget but it’s not in ZZboom’s URL. Let us see ZZboom’s Entrecard Member page to know where this widget should be. You do this by clicking on the Entrecard logo.

Hmmm??? ZZboom’s URL is http://www.zzboom.com but didn’t we just see his Entrecard Widget on a page at ExtremeDroppings.com (http://www.extremedropping.com/zzboom.html)?
Let’s take a look at another link. This time let’s try Dulce.

This time we see Dulce Negosyante’s Entrecard Widget but, again, what is it doing there? We are at ExtremeDropping.com and not at Dulce Negosyante. Let’s take a look at Dulce’s Entrecard Member page to see where that widget should be in.

It seems that Dulce Negosyante’s URL is http://www.dulcenegosyante.com so why is it on a page under ExtremeDropping.com (http://www.extremedropping.com/dulce.html)?
So, what ExtremeDropping.com’s doing is they are pulling the widgets of other Entrecard Members and places them on individual pages under ExtremeDropping.com’s domain and links to it from their main page. I believe what they’re doing is exactly what Graham Langdon said in his reply to my inquiry about Entrecard Widgets being pulled out from their respective websites.
Entrecard Widgetsurf did something like this before but instead of placing the widgets on separate pages they placed 9 widgets on one page using iFrames (see screenshot).
They took it down after getting a warning from Graham Langdon (click here for details)!
Creating “Made For Dropping” pages is already a simple attempt to game Entrecard. Yes, it’s convenient and yes it’s fast but I don’t think that they had that in mind when they created Entrecard. Now we have websites that pulls the Entrecard Widget of other Entrecard members. Entrecard Widgetsurf tried it and they were warned by Graham himself. In fact, they were very lucky because they were not banned from Entrecard. Now we have ExtremeDropping.com, same method of pulling Entrecard Widgets but with a different presentation.
For everyone else I suggest that you don’t try using these method, because according to PhiRatE, “the system would figure them out eventually and slap them with a heavy penalty” and according to Graham, “our security just wipes your credits out if you do it even a couple times”. So, don’t be surprised if you suddenly find your credits missing, or worse, all your accounts banned from Entrecard.
If you want credits fast then get it the right way. Visit the actual site (not the “made for dropping” page) to drop your entrecards. It will only take you 40 to 60 minutes to complete 300 drops.
If members continue with their attempts to game the system then the Entrecard Credits we all want will eventually lose value. The worst that would happen is that they stop awarding credits for dropping.

By the way, I’m not sure if the sites that own those Entrecard Widgets are aware that their widgets are being used by another site.
Update: It seems that the owners of the widgets at ExtremeDropping.com are not aware that their widgets are being pulled. At least, this was the case with Dulce Negosyante.
Also, PhiRatE announced that ExtremeDropping.com has been blacklisted from Entrecard.
Update: I must add this, being blacklisted means Entrecard Widgets will no longer appear on the blacklisted website.

Thanks for the heads up. I wasn’t really aware that my widget was being used at this site if you didn’t inform me. It’s so sad that some members will really opt to cheat the system just to get ahead. Tsk. Tsk.
Oh, by the way, keep up the good work on your blog. I found some interesting stuffs in here.

EntreCard is not about dropping EntreCards to build up EntreCredits alone. -_-

Building up credits is fine but they must build it up the right way and not do shortcuts that will devalue the system… Next issue they need to resolve is the “made for dropping” pages. I feel that it’s also an attempt to game Entrecard. It’s not as extreme as extremedropping but still you are suppose to drop on the site itself and not on a page created for dropping… Thanks Deimos for dropping by…

Power dropping is a dirty game.
I have noticed that many droppers do not stay at site for more than 2 sec.
It is just like stop drop and go!
are this mean that power dropping and extreme dropping had the same fault?. I’m only know that power dropping collecting link from the sites that have page load speed under and give the shot to drop in 30 minutes

Hi Melo,
Thanks for the info. Am not even aware that scripts or programs or whatever they call it, is being developed just to make the surfing and dropping easy and convenient.
