Win a $150 Gift Certificate from YouSendIt

YouSendIt provides a service where you can send large files to anyone anywhere and anytime. I’ve been using this service for more than a year now to send files that are too large to be an e-mail attachment to my clients. It works by you creating a standard e-mail like message to your recipient through YouSendIt and then uploading your file into YouSendIt’s server. Your recipient will receive your message with a download link to your uploaded file.

The type files I usually send are Photoshop (PSD) files of website designs I made for my clients. PSD files are huge specially if its for a poster or a banner/streamer. You won’t be able to send this via e-mail because most e-mail servers have a limit to the size of file you can attach. In my case, my mail server only allows a file attachment of 2MB or less. Well, I can always upload the files to my webserver via FTP but why waste precious server space when there is a service that would gladly store your file for you (even if it’s just temporary), right? Entrecard

Selling 10,000ec for only $20

Posted by User ImageMelo

Lol! I guess that pretty much summed up what this post is about. I haven’t dropped consistently this past few months but my Entrecard Credits keeps on stacking up and now I have more than 10,000ec. I would really love to horde it until the price of ec goes back up but I don’t think that would ever happen. So, instead of keeping it I’m selling it for only $20. That would be like $2 per 1,000ec.

So, if you are planning to do some mass advertising in Entrecard then this is a cheap and quick way to do it. There are other uses for these credits like you can use it as a prize for a contest on your blog. Anyway, if you are interested then just jump over to My Shop!

Site Hopping with EntreBar

No, SiteHoppin.com and Entrecard.com didn’t merge. He he he! That’s just how I feel everytime I use Entrecard’s latest addition to their Traffic, err…, Advertising Exchange Network, the EntreBar. LOL!

My EntreBar

My EntreBar with only 28 drops for the entire day!

The EntreBar is a FireFox plugin that, when installed, is added into your browser’s toolbar. It’s a really cool toolbar for Entrecard members (power droppers and casual droppers alike) because you can do almost everything in that toolbar and that’s not all, it is like the ULTIMATE POWERDROPPING TOOL ever created. Ha ha ha! [...continue reading Site Hopping with EntreBar]

Software

Convert, Edit, Burn, Rip and More

As an online gamer, I love to create simple movies of my characters or avatars in-game (or in-world if it’s in Second Life). For example, in Second Life, I would use Second Life’s built in movie capture feature to save clips of my avatar’s actions and I will then use MovieMaker to piece them all together.

Once the movie is complete, I would then save it to my computer but the problem is MovieMaker saves its movies in .WMV format. This is fine if you are going to upload it into YouTube but I also want to show my created video in Second Life and to do that I need to upload my video in a format Second Life supports. In other words, I need to convert my video from .WMV format to either .MOV or .MP4 format with a video converter and then upload it to a video hosting/sharing site like blip.tv (so that I could grab the static URL of the video).
