Video Entry Accepted
Posted by MeloA few days ago, I posted about HBO-Asia’s Flight of the Conchords Video Trailer Making Contest where I created a 30 seconds video trailer in Second Life but was not able to submit it because of not being an HBO-Asia subscriber. Well, eleven days after I posted it a comment by someone who goes by the name of Angela said that an HBO subscription is not required. O_o. How was that possible? So, I went back to the entry submission page and tried to submit it but it always ask me for my HBO-Asia account information which, apparently, I have none. After a few more tries I gave up.
Later that day, my wife, who helped me create the video, was using our kids computer to check her e-mail and her friendster asked me if I was able to submit the video. I said no of course and then she said she’ll try to submit it so I said okay. She signed up with HBO-Asia and after just a few minutes she told me that the video was submitted. I was surprised and asked her how she did it. She said that she just filled in all the forms. I asked her about the HBO-Asia Account field and she said she just put in a ramdom number. OMG! Why didn’t I think of that? When I was submitting the video, I would always skip that field and leave it empty and that was creating the error.
