Let’s Hear It!

Posted by User ImageMelo

I’ve heard about PayPerPlay a few weeks back but I only paid attention to it a week ago where I signed up and placed the code at SanPabloCity.net. For those who might not heard about PayPerPlay, it is a way to monetize your site by playing 5 second audio ads on your site. Well, I haven’t heard any audio ads play at SanPabloCity.net but I know they are playing because I’ve earned a few pennies from those ads.

I know there are some people who doesn’t like to hear audio ads played on websites they visit. There is even a thread at Entrecard’s forum asking that blogs with PayPerPlay ads be banned from the community because, according to the thread starter, “It could trigger a heart attack…”. LOL! Well, I kinda understand how he felt because I also got quite a shock when the “Taco Bell” ad suddenly played in one of the sample ad page. Later, it wasn’t so shocking anymore maybe because I was already expecting it to play.

Personally, audio ads are not a big issue for me because I only wear my headset when I specifically want to hear something from a website like when I’m viewing videos in YouTube or DailyMotion, downloading free music, listening to video and audio presentations or when I’m playing a game and after I’m through listening I take them off and then continue browsing normally.

I find PayPerPlay audio ads interesting because it’s totally invisible and if you are like me then you wouldn’t even know an audio ad is already playing in the background. For site owners, it gives us a way to monetize without using anymore ad space on our webpages but, just like with other monetizing schemes, we must always see if we are benefiting from it and if not then we can always stop and move on to the next one.

Right now I have the PayPerPlay code at SanPabloCity.net and I might add the code to a few more of my blogs to see if I’ll earn more than pennies. If you want to learn more about audio ads then just visit PayPerPlay’s website and if you want to try it then you can always sign-up here. Don’t be surprised if the sign-up form is in a different website. They are owned by the same company.

    Interesting,

I too am trying our PayPerPlay since my Google PayPerClick revenues have been dropping like a rock every month for the past year, even when traffic has increased tenfold, so I needed something to recapture lost revenues, and this appears to be the answer.

Granted, some don’t like ads of any kind, but the reality is, every business must advertise, so we are never going to be insulated from ads, so get use to it is what I say. Funny how it is the same complaints I heard when I started with Google, all the naysayers said it would never work, well, I have made thousands over the years, and others have made hundreds of thousands, so time will tell.

I thought I had seen it all, but this is unique and I have no doubt it will be a success as I have already seen a nice little income start building, and much of it is coming from those I introduced to PayPerPlay, so talk about passive income, this is the answer I was looking for.

    Good luck to all,

I’m not earning that much with Adsense but when my Adsense earnings went down to pennies a day, I changed it to bidvertiser. I hope I earn more than pennies a day with PayPerPlay. :)

Try it out and increase your traffic thus inreasing your earnings from PayPerPlay money site. It works good for me.
